  • Repairable is a military logistics term for a hardware component of a weapons system that can be designated for repair.

  • An item that is expected to be repaired when it is broken or worn out. This definition does not include equipment, but it does include component repair parts for equipment. Examples include engines, aircraft radios, and avionics.

I had taken the car in to get some work done. While the dealer was test driving it a truck pulled out in front of it. Nobody was seriously injured, and I'm awaiting the news to find out if the damage is repairable or if the car has been totaled.

This gorgeous car unfortunately crashed and suffered some damage, although the driver appeared uninjured and the car looked repairable from what I could see.
